Bristol Man Tells Friend “I Don’t Mind Dying” Before Alleged ISIS “Martyr” Trip

Mohamed Mohamoud, 22, is on trial at Winchester Crown Court accused of preparing acts of terrorism after travelling to Somalia to join ISIS. Prosecutors told the jury he messaged a man there, discussing arrangements and saying he had no plan to stay in the UK. Ten days before he flew, Mohamoud wrote: “Today I do not find dying a problem.” The court heard he believed he would be “punished” if he abandoned the plan. Mohamoud denies the charge and the trial continues
