Blacklisted Chinese Firm CGN Runs Power Stations in South Korea

China General Nuclear Power Corporation, a Chinese state-owned energy company placed on the U.S. Entity List in 2019, operates multiple power facilities in South Korea through local subsidiaries. The company’s South Korean operations include plants at Daesan and Yulchon, with total installed capacity reportedly reaching 2.2 gigawatts.
