Zelenskyy Says North Korea Preparing to Deploy Another 10,000 Troops to Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says more than 8,000 North Korean troops are currently on Russian territory, while another 10,000 are being selected and trained for deployment. Kyiv says the arrangement strengthens Moscow’s war effort and deepens military cooperation between Russia and Pyongyang. North Korea has already supplied Russia with troops, artillery shells, missiles, and other weapons, according to Ukrainian and South Korean estimates. Zelenskyy urged Seoul to provide additional air-defense support as the conflict continues and North Korean involvement expands.
