Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned airlines, insurers and that Russian airspace is becoming unsafe as Kyiv expands long-range drone and missile strikes. He said civilian aviation was not being targeted, but warned that drones would increasingly operate over Russia. Zelenskyy’s remarks followed intensified Ukrainian attacks on military facilities, energy infrastructure and logistics centers. He said Kyiv had temporarily paused operations at partners’ requests to support diplomacy. Russia condemned the warning, while carriers continue reassessing routes, insurance risks and security conditions.
