Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on U.S. President Donald Trump to do more to push Vladimir Putin toward negotiations, saying Washington has greater leverage than European allies. He criticized discussions about future U.S.-Russia economic projects while peace efforts remain stalled. “You can’t, on the one hand, negotiate with Russia about future economic projects, and on the other, talk about a diplomatic impasse,” Zelensky said. Ukrainian negotiators are scheduled to visit the United States October 9–10 to discuss diplomacy and possible further talks.
