President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian forces struck the Kamensky chemical plant in Russia’s Rostov region, a facility involved in missile production. He also reported hits on a Pantsir-S2 air-defense system and a command-and-staff vehicle belonging to an S-400 Triumf system. Zelensky estimated the two air-defense assets together were worth about $70 million. He described the strikes as “long-range sanctions” and thanked Ukraine’s Security Service and other Defense Forces personnel involved. Russian authorities had not independently confirmed the reported damage at the time of publication.
