Zelensky lifts pause on Ukraine’s strikes against Russian oil refineries

President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine had resumed striking Russian oil refineries after pausing attacks for three days. He said Russia continued hitting Ukrainian energy infrastructure during the ceasefire. The pause followed US President Donald Trump’s announcement of an energy truce, which Kyiv said it had not been told about. Zelensky said Ukraine would halt attacks on Russian energy targets only if the US provided Patriot air-defense missiles. Russia accused Ukraine of attacking a refinery near Ryazan.
