Zelenskiy Says Allowing Russian Diesel Sales to U.S. Is an “Investment in War”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy condemned an accord allowing Russia to supply diesel to the United States, calling it “an investment in a war that must be ended.” He said the deal would give Moscow additional resources to continue fighting and described it as a “weak decision” by Ukraine’s partners. U.S. President Donald Trump said Russia would immediately provide diesel to the United States and global markets, presenting lower fuel prices as a priority. Zelenskiy urged reciprocal de-escalation and said sanctions pressure on Russia should continue.
