Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement said it launched missile and drone attacks on what it called a sensitive target in Riyadh and facilities operated by Saudi Aramco in Yanbu. The claim followed Saudi Arabia’s announcement that it had intercepted six ballistic missiles aimed toward Taif and the Yanbu area. Riyadh had not immediately confirmed an attack, damage, or casualties. The episode adds to tensions surrounding the Yemen conflict and the Houthis’ repeated strikes against Saudi energy and military infrastructure there now.
