XRP ETF Revolution: Six More Spot ETFs Ready to Launch as Institutional Adoption Accelerates

The cryptocurrency market is witnessing a historic transformation as XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) continue their rapid expansion into mainstream financial markets. With five spot XRP ETFs already trading on major U.S. exchanges, six more products are positioned for imminent launch, marking an unprecedented wave of institutional adoption for the digital asset.

## Recent ETF Launches Create Momentum

The past few months have seen a remarkable acceleration in XRP ETF approvals and launches. Rex-Osprey became the first mover when it launched its XRP ETF on September 18, 2025, setting the stage for what would become one of the fastest ETF expansion cycles for any altcoin.

Canary Capital followed on November 13, with Bitwise joining the market on November 20. The momentum reached a peak on November 24 when both Grayscale and Franklin Templeton debuted their respective XRP products on the same day.

Grayscale's GXRP ETF and Franklin Templeton's XRPZ fund both launched on NYSE Arca, collectively attracting $164 million in net inflows on their debut day alone. Franklin Templeton, managing approximately $1.69 trillion in assets, brings significant institutional credibility to the XRP market.

## 21Shares Set to Launch November 29

The next major launch comes from 21Shares, one of the world's largest crypto ETP issuers. The company's XRP Spot ETF (TOXR) has received regulatory approval and will begin trading on the Cboe BZX Exchange on November 29, 2025.

The fund will carry a 0.50% management fee and launch with initial seed creation baskets totaling 20,000 shares at $25 each, representing $500,000 in initial capital. This launch follows 21Shares' automatic approval after filing a Form 8-A with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

## Six More ETFs Ready for Launch

Beyond the already launched products, six additional spot XRP ETFs are positioned for market entry:

• 21Shares Core XRP ETF

• WisdomTree XRP ETF

• CoinShares XRP ETF

• Hashdex XRP ETF

• ProShares XRP ETF

• Volatility Shares 2x XRP ETF

These products represent a diverse range of asset managers bringing different approaches to XRP exposure, from traditional spot tracking to leveraged products.

## Regulatory Clarity Drives Institutional Interest

The surge in XRP ETF launches follows the resolution of regulatory uncertainties stemming from Ripple's settlement with the SEC earlier in 2025. In September, the SEC introduced new generic listing standards for commodity-based cryptocurrency ETPs, creating a fast-track framework that allows qualifying filings to become effective automatically after 20 days.

Industry analysts have assigned a 95% probability to comprehensive XRP ETF approval by Q4 2025, driven by this regulatory clarity and growing institutional demand.

## Market Impact and Price Performance

XRP has responded positively to the ETF launches, with the price surging approximately 10% following the Grayscale and Franklin Templeton debuts. The token reached $2.27 amid the institutional buying activity, though it remains below its all-time highs.

Bitwise reported initial inflows of $100 million for its XRP ETF launched the week prior, demonstrating strong investor appetite for regulated XRP exposure.

## What This Means for Investors

The expansion of XRP ETFs offers several advantages for traditional investors:

• Regulated exposure without direct cryptocurrency custody requirements

• Transparent pricing that tracks XRP's actual market value

• Access through existing brokerage accounts

• Institutional-grade custody and administration services

Franklin Templeton uses Coinbase Custody for asset safeguarding, with BNY Mellon serving as administrator, providing the institutional framework that traditional investors require.

## Looking Ahead

The XRP ETF landscape continues to evolve rapidly. With major asset managers now competing for market share, investors can expect continued product innovation and potentially lower fees as competition intensifies.

The absence of BlackRock from the current XRP ETF lineup remains notable, though this could change as the market develops. Franklin Templeton's entry signals that top-tier asset managers view XRP as a viable institutional product.

As the regulatory environment continues to mature and more products reach the market, XRP's position in the digital asset ecosystem appears increasingly secure. The coming weeks will be crucial as additional ETFs launch and the market absorbs this new wave of institutional investment vehicles.
