WWE and McMahons Must Face Former ‘Ring Boys’ Sex Abuse Claims

Most claims in a lawsuit brought by former WWE “ring boys” alleging childhood sexual abuse and negligence can proceed, a judge ruled. The plaintiffs say they were abused as minors by WWE employee Melvin Phillips Jr. and that leaders failed to protect them. WWE, TKO Group Holdings, Vince McMahon and Linda McMahon are defendants. The allegations have not been proven in court, and the defendants have denied them. The case will move into discovery, allowing sides to gather evidence before trial.
