X has faced repeated scrutiny over moderation practices since expanding Grok’s capabilities, with critics arguing that generative systems require stronger safeguards before being widely deployed. No formal penalties have been announced, and discussions between regulators and the company are ongoing. For now, the images themselves have largely faded from prominence.
