Voice of America to Relaunch Ukrainian-Language Broadcasting

Voice of America (VOA) announced it will restore its Ukrainian-language broadcasting and bring back some employees of its Ukrainian Service to work. Ruslan Petrychka, head of VOA’s Ukrainian Service, said staff have begun preparations to resume programming next week following a management decision to reinstate the service. He described the restart as especially important as Russia continues daily strikes on Ukrainian cities and intensifies propaganda and disinformation efforts. VOA operates under the U.S. Agency for Global Media.
