Alexandros Paporakis, 19, of Palatine, appeared in court Wednesday charged with making a terrorist threat and unlawful weapon possession. Prosecutors allege he told a coworker he planned an attack at an Aurora Hindu temple. Police say they found a rifle, loaded magazines, ammunition, body armor and an eight-page manifesto. The manifesto allegedly expressed white-supremacist beliefs. Authorities have not confirmed the specific intended location, and the investigation is ongoing. A judge ordered Paporakis detained pending trial. His coworker and another colleague called police.
