US Says It Can Maintain Naval Blockade on Iranian Ports “Indefinitely,” Pentagon Chief Says

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States has sufficient military assets to maintain a naval blockade of Iranian ports indefinitely. He added that U.S. ships can be rotated in and out of the region as needed, allowing the pressure campaign to continue for as long as Washington decides.
