US Military Reimposes Blockade of Iranian Ports

The US says it has reimposed a blockade of Iranian ports after a period when the measure was briefly lifted. The move comes following Iran’s alleged attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command said it resumed the blockade on vessels heading to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas, while also launching additional strikes intended to further degrade Iranian capabilities used against commercial shipping. President Donald Trump said the US would continue “very severe” attacks until it determines the situation is sufficient.
