UN Inquiry Says Israel Continued Genocide in Gaza After Truce

A UN commission of inquiry said on October 26, 2026, that Israeli authorities continued genocidal acts in Gaza despite the ceasefire, with intent to destroy Palestinians in whole or in part. The report accused Israel of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied West Bank, including extermination, torture, persecution, rape and other sexual violence. The commission said military operations and settler violence formed an attack on Palestinian civilians. Israel rejected the findings, accusing the commission of misinformation and calling for its dissolution.
