Ukrainian forces have reportedly destroyed a key bridge on the Donetsk–Mariupol road in Russian-occupied territory, according to local authorities and Ukrainian-aligned reporting.
The bridge is located on the Mariupol–Donetsk highway near the village of Kremenivka. It had already been partially damaged by earlier strikes, but the overnight incident caused critical destruction—photos shared afterward show that one of the bridge spans collapsed.
As a result, traffic from Mariupol toward Donetsk can no longer pass through the crossing. Occupation authorities have implemented a detour via Kremenivka, adding an estimated 15–20 kilometers to the journey.
Reporting frames the strike as part of Ukraine’s broader campaign targeting logistics infrastructure in temporarily occupied areas, aimed at complicating the movement of troops, equipment, and supplies toward the front.
