Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky reported results from the first half of 2026, saying Ukraine’s forces used “Deep Strike” capabilities to hit 697 targets on the territory of the Russian Federation over six months.

Syrsky said the direct and indirect economic damages inflicted on Russia were estimated at at least $6.1 billion. Alongside the Deep Strike campaign, he said the “Middle Strike” effort was also producing results, with 7,028 enemy objects hit during the same period.

Syrsky further outlined activity across other branches of the armed forces, reporting that artillery carried out more than 456,000 fire missions, missile forces launched over 1,140 strikes, and aviation conducted more than 1,100 missions. He also said support units carried out about 1,400 strikes.
