Ukraine is testing an uncrewed aircraft called Stargate to evacuate wounded soldiers from frontline areas where Russian drones make conventional transport dangerous. Developed by Ukrainian military technology company Skyfall, the drone is designed to carry a casualty roughly nine miles and fly at speeds of up to 65 miles per hour. Its makers say onboard artificial-intelligence functions help it operate when GPS signals are unavailable or jammed. The aircraft is undergoing early testing with frontline units; its performance and ability to withstand enemy attacks remain unclear.
