Ukraine says new Starlink speed restrictions are disrupting battlefield operations as Russia intensifies attacks. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov said SpaceX introduced a 100 mph (160 km/h) limit without notifying Kyiv, affecting drone missions. Ukrainian defence sources said terminals lose connectivity above that speed, complicating interceptor-drone operations, logistics, reconnaissance and communications. Meanwhile, Russian missile and drone strikes hit energy infrastructure, killing civilians and leaving at least 600,000 people without electricity, Zelenskyy said. SpaceX had not publicly commented on the reported restrictions.
