Ukraine’s General Staff said Ukrainian forces struck the Tolyattikauchuk plant in Russia’s Samara region overnight, starting a fire at the industrial facility. The plant produces synthetic rubber, monomers, chemical fractions, and high-octane fuel additives. Ukrainian officials said the rubber is used to manufacture solid rocket propellant for tactical and ballistic missiles. Drones reportedly traveled about 880 kilometers to reach the target. The extent of the damage remains unclear, while Russia has not independently confirmed Ukraine’s account or detailed any casualties
