Ukraine Foreign Minister Sybiha Receives Invitation to Visit China

Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha has received an invitation to visit China from Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Ukraine’s foreign ministry said.

Sybiha stated that possible visit dates are currently being discussed. He also said that during negotiations with Wang Yi, he called on the PRC to support a ceasefire, describing it as consistent with China’s principles for ending the war.

Sybiha added that Ukraine welcomes China’s willingness to play a more active role in achieving peace and said Ukraine is interested in intensifying bilateral contacts with China, including at the highest level.
