Olha Stefanishyna, dismissed as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States earlier this week, is suspected of illegal enrichment and of failing to declare assets, authorities said on Thursday. Prosecutors allege she concealed two apartments and other holdings worth about $310,000 that could not be explained by her official salary alone, plus omissions related to expenses and other financial information. She denied wrongdoing, while investigators moved forward with the case, citing irregularities in her asset declarations.
