UK Rail Boss Calls for More Funding to Tackle Climate Change After Two Derailments

After two derailments during the UK heatwave, Network Rail’s group safety and engineering director Martin Frobisher called for additional funding to strengthen climate resilience. He said investigations into incidents in Essex and East Sussex are examining “climate and all sorts of other issues,” including heat impacts on electronic signalling equipment.
