UK Open to Germany Joining Britain, Italy and Japan’s Fighter-Jet Programme

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the UK is open to Germany joining the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), a sixth-generation fighter project launched by Britain, Italy and Japan. Speaking in Berlin alongside Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Burnham said the countries would work to advance the possibility.
