Turkish bailiffs seized a Caspian Airlines Boeing 737 at Istanbul Airport after a court ordered the aircraft impounded over a €3 million unpaid debt. Passengers and crew were removed minutes before the flight was scheduled to depart for Iran, leaving travelers stranded at the terminal. The creditor, aviation services company ACM Temsil Gözetim, pursued the claim through courts. The seizure comes as sanctions and pressures deepen challenges for Iranian airlines, many of which struggle to maintain fleets and meet obligations.
