Turkey Issues Genocide Arrest Warrant for Israel’s Netanyahu

Turkey has issued an international arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over alleged genocide connected to Israel’s interception of an aid flotilla bound for Gaza. Justice Minister Akin Gurlek said Ankara had also requested Interpol red notices for Netanyahu and another Israeli official. The case includes allegations of crimes against humanity, unlawful detention, torture and other offenses. Israel rejects the accusations. The move adds to deteriorating relations between Ankara and Jerusalem and intensifies legal pressure over Gaza.
