Indonesia welcomes the new milestone for the national crypto asset industry, with crypto transaction value in Indonesia reaching IDR 482.trillion year-to-date through October 2025, according to a report by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This figure reaffirms the continued growth of public interest in digital assets and their role as a vital component of Indonesia's digital economy. The significant growth in crypto transactions in 2025 reflects the growing maturity of the digital asset industry in Indonesia. In addition to transaction values reaching hundreds of trillions, the number of national crypto asset users continues to grow, driven by improved access, education, and clearer regulations from the government. The OJK and Bank Indonesia (BI) also continue to strengthen the regulatory framework, including the implementation of regulations under the P2SK Law and the development of a digital asset ecosystem that prioritizes security, consumer protection, and transparency.
