DODA — One person was killed and five others sustained injuries when a Mahindra Bolero vehicle lost control and overturned in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district.
The accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control while navigating a sharp bend, causing the Bolero to skid off the road and flip over multiple times. Local residents and passersby rushed to the spot to launch immediate rescue efforts before police and emergency services arrived.
One passenger died on the spot due to severe head injuries sustained during the rollover. The five injured individuals, including the driver, were pulled from the wreckage and rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, where two are reported to be in critical condition.
Police have registered a case regarding the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash, assessing whether excessive speed, mechanical failure, or poor road conditions contributed to the mishap.
