Tragedy in Caloocan: Woman and Teen Shot Dead While Waiting for Jeepney

CALOOCAN CITY — A routine commute turned into a horrific scene of violence when a woman and a teenage boy were shot dead by an unidentified gunman while waiting for a jeepney along a busy street in Caloocan City.

The victims were standing near a passenger loading area during the morning rush when the assailant approached without warning and opened fire at close range. Both victims sustained multiple gunshot wounds and collapsed immediately onto the pavement as horrified commuters and nearby vendors scrambled for safety.

According to eyewitnesses, the suspect acted with quiet calculation, approaching the duo on foot before drawing a concealed firearm. After firing several targeted shots, the gunman quickly fled the scene on a getaway motorcycle driven by an accomplice who was waiting nearby.

Bystanders rushed to assist the victims, but local emergency responders who arrived shortly after confirmed that both died at the scene due to the severity of their injuries.
