According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), the emergency call came in at approximately 8:10 PM on Sunday night, July 19, 2026. Fire crews rushed to the 12800 block of Ramona Boulevard, where they were met with a rapidly developing inferno tearing through the multi-unit residential property.

As the intense flames tore through the structure, the situation quickly escalated. Within about an hour, incident commanders officially called for a third alarm, bringing a heavy influx of additional fire engines, specialized equipment, and personnel to the scene.
