The European Trade Union Confederation is urging the EU to recognize menopause in workplace law, arguing that inadequate support can cost women earnings, career opportunities and pension income. Its proposals include workplace risk assessments, flexible hours, remote work, manager training and practical adjustments such as temperature controls.
