TelkomMetra Reshapes Its Digital Horizon: AdMedika Divestment Marks a New Chapter in Business Transformation

TelkomMetra is reshaping the structure of its business portfolio through the full divestment of PT Administrasi Medika, or AdMedika, together with its subsidiary TelkoMedika. The healthcare administration businesses were transferred to Fullerton Health as TelkomGroup places greater emphasis on telecommunications and digital services.

The transaction was marked by the signing of a sale and purchase agreement between TelkomMetra and Fullerton Health on June 2, 2026. The deal forms part of a longer process of reorganizing businesses considered outside TelkomGroup's core telecommunications and digital activities.

AdMedika has operated in the healthcare administration sector, while TelkoMedika has been part of the group's healthcare-related business structure. Under Fullerton Health, the businesses enter a new corporate environment with a different strategic focus.

For TelkomMetra, the transaction is connected to the implementation of the TLKM 30 transformation strategy. The program includes efforts to streamline the portfolio and concentrate resources on businesses considered central to TelkomGroup's future direction.

The change comes as telecommunications companies increasingly operate across several layers of the digital economy. Connectivity, data infrastructure, cloud services and business technology have become increasingly interconnected, requiring companies to decide where capital and management attention should be concentrated.

Telkom has also been adjusting other parts of its portfolio during 2026. The company has continued to prepare the second phase of its wholesale fiber connectivity separation while pursuing other restructuring measures designed to strengthen its core infrastructure and digital businesses.

Fullerton Health's involvement gives AdMedika and TelkoMedika a new corporate home within a healthcare-focused group. The transaction can allow the healthcare businesses to develop under an organization whose principal activities are more closely connected with medical administration and healthcare services.

For TelkomGroup, meanwhile, the divestment removes a non-core business from its portfolio. The company has described the approach as part of a broader effort to create a more focused and agile corporate structure while opening room for investment in areas aligned with its digital ambitions.

Corporate restructuring rarely changes a business overnight. Its effects tend to appear gradually through capital allocation, management priorities, investment decisions and the development of individual businesses after ownership changes.

The AdMedika transaction therefore represents more than the movement of one company from one owner to another. It marks another stage in TelkomGroup's continuing effort to define the businesses it wants to build around as Indonesia's telecommunications and digital economy continues to expand.
