Syria says it foiled an attempt to smuggle advanced arms from Iraq to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Syrian Interior Ministry statements carried by SANA said security forces found a suspicious vehicle parked near the Iraqi border and discovered a cache including long-range missiles, anti-tank guided missiles, and FPV first-person-view drones. Officials said preliminary investigations suggest the shipment was meant to transit Syrian territory before being delivered to Hezbollah. Syria added that it is working to identify those involved and dismantle linked smuggling networks, with no details yet on arrests.
