Lake Tahoe, California—A fatal drowning occurred on the north shore of Lake Tahoe today, prompting an emergency response that lasted throughout the morning. Rescue personnel were called to the scene after witnesses reported a person struggling in the water. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by first responders, the victim could not be resuscitated.
