Students in Blockade Reject RTS Apology

Students in Blockade rejected Radio Television of Serbia’s apology after public broadcaster RTV admitted it had failed to report objectively for years. The apology followed criticism over the omission of footage showing celebrations after the Student List’s election victory. Presenter Goran Eror read the statement on air, acknowledging that the broadcaster had silenced issues and reported uncritically. Students continued to demand accountability from public-media leaders. RTV editor-in-chief Nenad Ćaćić resigned, while new managers were appointed. The student movement has also called for broader changes to state institutions.
