South Korea’s SK Hynix, Samsung Electronics Sign $950 Billion Partnership With U.S. Big Tech

South Korea’s Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix plan a memory chip supply partnership with U.S. big tech companies, including Nvidia, worth $950 billion overall, a South Korean presidential adviser said. The agreement includes long-term memory chip supply of $750 billion from SK Hynix to U.S. companies and $200 billion from Samsung to Broadcom. The adviser, Kim Yong-beom, outlined the figures during a briefing. The partnership is aimed at strengthening supply chains for advanced computing and AI-related demand.
