South African prosecutors say court documents reviewed by Bloomberg allege Russia funded and trained French-Beninese influencer Kemi Séba, linked to anti-French activism. Prosecutors allege Séba and other figures planned an illegal escape route from South Africa through Zimbabwe before traveling to Europe, including the UK, where they aimed to carry out terror attacks. Authorities also seized over 300,000 rand during the arrests. Séba remains in custody as legal proceedings continue.
