The Seminole Tribe of Florida has sued DraftKings in Broward County, alleging its Pick6 product and online platform violate state law and the Tribe’s 2021 gaming compact. The agreement gives the Tribe exclusive rights to statewide online sports betting. The lawsuit asks a judge to stop DraftKings from offering or advertising sports wagers in Florida and seeks profits, legal fees and other relief. DraftKings says its prediction markets comply with federal law and argues Pick6 is fantasy sports, not sports betting. The allegations have not been proven in court
