Security Forces Strike Back: 11 Terrorists Killed in Major Operations Across Balochistan

QUETTA — In a swift and coordinated intelligence-based crackdown, Pakistani security forces neutralized at least 11 terrorists during targeted counter-terrorism operations across the Panjgur and Chagai districts of Balochistan.

The security operations, conducted under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III, targeted key hideouts in the province to disrupt terrorist networks and neutralize active threats.

The first phase of the operation took place in the Gowargo area of Panjgur district. Acting on precise intelligence regarding the presence of militant elements, security forces raided a concealed location, triggering a heavy exchange of gunfire. Five terrorists were killed at the scene.

Simultaneously, troops carried out precision actions in the Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai district. The operation resulted in the elimination of six additional terrorists. Officials confirmed that a significant cache of automatic weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials was recovered from both sites following the engagements.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security personnel for their decisive action, stating that the troops had successfully thwarted the destructive intentions of terrorist elements through effective and timely measures. He reiterated the government's firm commitment to safeguarding national security and restoring complete peace to the region.

Sanitization and clearance operations are currently ongoing in both districts to ensure no remaining insurgents or explosive caches are left behind. Authorities expect security measures across Balochistan to remain heightened as forces continue high-tempo intelligence-driven raids.

Local intelligence sources noted that the raided locations had been serving as logistical hubs and operational bases for planning attacks on critical infrastructure and security personnel in the province. Intelligence agencies had been tracking communication networks linked to these hideouts for several weeks prior to sanctioning the simultaneous strikes.
