A Russian drone struck a school in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district during a morning air raid, starting a fire while children and staff sheltered inside. The strike damaged the building’s floors, shattered windows, and brought emergency crews to the scene. Officials said more than 100 students and about 60 staff members were in the shelter when the drone hit. No injuries were reported, and rescuers extinguished the fire. The attack occurred amid intensified Russian drone strikes across Kyiv and Ukrainian cities.
