A Russian jet-powered drone struck a crowded platform at Dnipro’s main railway station on Thursday morning, Ukrainian officials said. The platform held passengers waiting to board a regional train to Zaporizhzhia. Officials initially reported at least 13 people killed; later, President Volodymyr Zelensky said the death toll had risen to 14. At least 14 others were wounded, including an 11-year-old boy. Dnipro’s mayor said a civilian electric train was hit. Russia has repeatedly targeted Ukraine’s railway network but denies deliberately attacking civilians.
