Russia Hits Steel Plant in New Strikes on Ukraine, Kyiv Attacks Moscow Region

Russia carried out a wave of overnight strikes across Ukraine, killing people and hitting the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih steel plant, where officials said key production facilities were damaged and operations partially halted. Kyiv, in turn, launched a major drone attack on Russia’s Moscow region that killed at least one person and sparked fires, including damage to a warehouse tied to Wildberries, Russia’s e-commerce retailer. Both sides reported drone interceptions and casualties, with NATO forces also reported to have shot down a drone breaching Romanian airspace.
