Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces renewed its assault on al-Obeid on Wednesday and intensified drone and land attacks across the country this week, witnesses said. In al-Obeid, eight drones were reported, triggering army air defenses; medical sources said two people were killed and others injured. Witnesses in Khartoum, Bahri, and Atbara also reported drone strikes, the first since May. The RSF did not claim responsibility and the army made no immediate comment
