Romanian F-16s shot down two drones that entered national airspace over Black Sea waters on Saturday, the defense ministry said. The first drone was downed about 25 km southeast of Sulina within two minutes of entering Romanian airspace. The second was intercepted near the same area five minutes after entry, about 20 km east of the town. Authorities said two F-16s were scrambled from Borcea Air Base after radar systems detected aerial targets. Officials did not specify where the drones originated.
