Riyadh Airport Attack Leaves Several Wounded, Saudi Officials Say

Several people were wounded in attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudia Airlines aircraft, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said. The authority reported that the first strike hit airport facilities on Thursday, while another struck the aircraft. It did not identify those responsible. Yemen’s Houthi group claimed it had attacked the airport with a ballistic missile. The incidents came amid a sharp escalation in fighting between the Houthis and Saudi-backed forces in Yemen. Airport operations later returned to normal.
