An explosion at a rig run by state-run oil company PDVSA in Venezuela’s Apure state left at least eight workers wounded late Sunday, according to sources cited by Reuters on Monday.
The injured workers were transported to neighboring Colombia for medical assistance, the sources said, with videos on social media also indicating casualties. PDVSA did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
