Rheinmetall Says Ramping Up ATACMS Output Will Take Time as U.S. Rebuilds Stocks

Rheinmetall said it will take time to ramp up planned ATACMS missile production with Lockheed Martin, underscoring how difficult it is for the U.S. to replenish long-range precision stocks depleted during its war with Iran. Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger said replenishment “won’t happen in two years,” adding that the joint venture approval process is well advanced.
