Report: Musk Proposed Slowing Starlink in Ukraine to Trump

The Telegraph reported that Elon Musk personally proposed restricting Starlink speeds in Ukraine to President Donald Trump, and that Trump agreed, citing sources familiar with the matter. The report follows a slowdown affecting Starshield, Ukraine’s military-version Starlink service, which Kyiv says disrupted communications and drone defenses. Musk has denied responsibility, saying limits are decided by the US military and ultimately the president. A US official reportedly disputed that Trump personally requested the restriction. The Pentagon has not explained the decision.
